That design is completely stupid. I think they do the same thing in Houston, where the light rail travels using the traffic lights in the middle of the road and if you're in the right lane turning right you need to check behind you to see if it's barreling through a yellow at 40 mph.

The weather at the time blew them all over the city and then pressed them down to a low height.
