I lucked out and got a gently used range P90 once for $1200. It was my dream toy. I mainly blame it on how cool they made it look in Stargate SG-1. Couldn't afford to shoot it much as the round price was ridiculous. I had the 30 mag. It was as amazing even with the wonky reloads.

Then my wife found out how much it cost and the price of the ammo boxes.

I no longer have a P90. :smith:

And they was mean and nasty and horrible game devs sitting on the bench next to me. And the meanest, ugliest, nastiest one, the meanest game developer of them all, was coming over to be and he was mean and ugly and nasty and horrible and all kinds of things and he sat down and said, "Ever do motion capture?" I said "I didn't capture anything I just lost $50 and can't even play yet"

He said, "What are you here for, kid" And I said, "Releasing a videogame" and they all moved away from me on the bench there and they was being all kinds of mean and nasty things until I said "...without most of its features" and they all came back, shook my hand, and we had a great time on the bench, talking about funding, cutting content, minimum viable products. And everything was fine, we was smoking cigarettes and all kinds of things until the Lawyer came over.

It's not a forklift silly, it's a Flurförderfahrzeug, something that Foundry 42 in Frankfurt have been secretly working on.

Thank you, kind SA person.

It all started in the mists of game development time, 2012.
I was eagerly looking for a new game to waste money on, when I heard a rumour of a possible comeback from Coding Guru - Christopher Roberts.
I think I may still have a poster of him, or perhaps he is in my Scrapbook titled,
"Coding Legends of the 80-90's- Where Are they Now?"

Anyhoo, I digress.

I eagerly jumped on to the Kickstarter site looking for said game, but hailing from a country other than the Unites States, was wary of said Kickstarter.
The whole setup looked a tad dodgy.

But word was afoot that CIG would be opening their own site, where donations could be donated for 'packages'.
Once that occurred, I jumped straight on to donating for a 'Freelancer' package, as a homage to the mind numbingly brilliant job that 'The King of Code - Chris Roberts'™ had performed on the game with the same name (until the wet blanket, Micro$oft, spoiled the party)

The rest, as they say, is history.

I have been eagerly watching the refactoring of Star Citizen ever since.
I still possess my package, as I really want that 8 Gig spaceship thumb drive.

I stumbled upon this forum of like minded optimists, after googling "Is Dyson OK for performing fellatio"
No idea what half of that meant, but I'm teaching myself Latin and it sounded like a fun combo.

Thanks for listening.
