I remember reading an update from the front page. The original deal didn't include the Houston tapes but there's a new deal that would include them.

Mike Johnson's version is the condensed one. It is very much like the Corgan-TNA sale. Tharpe kept avoiding Corgan even though the terms were agreed around Wrestlemania time. I dunno if Billy is really naive or he thinks he's a better "con man or gameplayer. I am sure Tharpe has a masterpiece in his head but his actions have pretty baffling. Some thought the delays and new demands were doing a "Dixie" and his way of getting a role in Corgan's new NWA. Also Corgan kinda like bailing out TNA financially for TV tapings has been playing middle man with the Houston footage with WWE so to make the NWA sale to him happen. Lots of legwork with no guarantee Billy will get want he wants in the end.
