Is that what they badger you with every time you log into the site? I only go there these days from links from this thread, but it seems like every time I do, I get "Hey you downloaded this more realistic weather mod for Skyrim in 2012, please endorse it before going to your content". Seems like if I didn't endorse it then (and it was half a decade, two children and a career change ago, gently caress no I don't remember it) then I'm not going to now.

It's really more a "Do you want to 'Endorse' this mod, or maybe not right now but probably Endorse later?", it feels like. And risking hurting the modders' fragile egos is discouraged with the mod ban system.

Of course, that leads to the loophole of just never saying anything about mods and downloading them. Which led to gunnetwork madness.

Was it the FakeFactory mods? The one that was like 5 gigs, with "refined" textures and Alyx getting a completely different model with skimpier clothes every version?

Where did it all go wrong? Was that where it went all wrong?

You know, because the mere existence of a mod that makes female armor have less cleavage holes is taken as a passive aggressive troll against their own work almost as bad as only 4 our of 5 stars.

Those cooks did their best and you shouldn't expect the quality of a fancy French Restaurant at some little corner diner. Please don't troll with your 3-star reviews and constructive criticism about how the chips were a little soggy but the meal was otherwise fine. I just had this awesome idea of this samurai questline, unfortunatly im no modder so if someone out there was interested this would be great. the only thing i could help is voice acting.

So samurai storyline. i think it should somewhat tie into the institute and how they created synth that ran away with the help of the railroad and formed the 'modern samurais'. the quest will trigger upon the completion of tradecraft so you can get the gist of what the railroad do. so i have no idea how it would work but these synths would live somewhere like far harbor but a different piece of land if anyone can make that and are always running away from the institute. when they first find you they think youre a courser trying to capture them so they start attacking you till the master comes in and interupts, npc becomes good again and you start talking to master and he talks about what this is. soon after you finish the convo some synth coursers appear and they speak to you (if part of the institute) to tell you to use shut down code, if you comply the story ends there. if not the coursers will attack you and you have to kill coursers. the samurais will accept you to there place, you soon find out there is a spy there and thats why coursers now where they are and try to hunt them down. and yeh this it for now xd

Ok there's no mod about this and we need this!!!!!

We need someone to create a mod that makes everything in the map (Boston and everything else) Pre-war!!!! you can see the whole map in the beginning of the game before everything got nuked BUT if you toggle collission and fly to the city........ there's nothing there but the tallest buildings and the floor of the map is just unfinished... holes there and water over here. WE need someone talented or a group to make a mod/project that makes the whole map as it was before the war.

you'll of course leave the story untouched because it would be fun to wander around killing raiders and all the mutated creatures and everything is untouched by the war....(except for the enemies and stuff)

Many people want this but no one has done this so WE ( soooo many fallout fans) need someone to do this!!!

Is this do-able?

many thanks from- Ómar, a fallout and elder scrolls fan.

i would actually be willing to give this at least a partial pass in many contexts, because gently caress knows there are folks who bust their asses all day to do what they need to do for themselves and their loved ones, but still come home thinking about things to be something more than what they are. if someone's working at a hard job for 10 hours a day, i can definitely understand 2 hours of video games as simple mental maintenance so they don't eventually crack under the strain.

and then you add the context that we're talking about the nexus here and :newlol: all sympathy gone
