Yea I'm starting to notice this too, especially unless I just slowly walk everywhere Jason will see me anyway.

It seems the PS4 servers have the login issues and very long wait times. My rocker chick only gets in trouble when I am near cars or the phone. I do have strong sense perks and stamina regeneration.

You can survive with anyone if you get lucky enough to find a pocket knife or two and get crafty with windows/cabins. I gave em the old razzle dazzle running out the clock for EIGHT MINUTES yesterday with Nerdy McGoo. e: well gently caress, came back from a friends house and its Database Error only now. Nothing has changed on my side  How is this not sorted out yet?

I feel like with AJ it's easier to get away from Jason if he catches you in a cabin since your high composure and stealth makes it hard to track you down if you get out of line of sight long enough. That or most Jasons that I play against are lazy.

Well after multiple attempts, I got my very first session. I was hoping to play as a counselor but I somehow ended up with Jason for my very first game. I have never played this game before so I had no idea what I was doing. Despite that, I somehow managed to kill all the counselors and Tommy Jarvis in around 6 or 7 minutes. Hearing some kid poo poo himself upon seeing me walk through walls and doors after him was the highlight of my session. As was teleporting in front of a pair of escaping counselors and hearing two men scream like little girls. Next session was as counselor but I crashed in less than 2 minutes. I should elaborate on the Tinfoil story. I'll let him fill in the blanks, but here is what I experience both times. First time I was a Jason, minding my own business, stopping these fuckheads from starting the phone again. Tinfoil is trying to get the phone going, I grab him. Some one, some beautiful person who I never figured out which one of you it was, had a shot gun and thought, Okay, I'm going to hero mode this poo poo. Shot Tin Foil only. Not me. I was completely fine. I was actually stunned In Real Life for a moment because I could not figure out why my character was unharmed and why Tinfoil was now dead. Apparently Jason can use people as human shields. Slaughter followed these events. Side note, make a habit of killing every Tommy you ever see as soon as possible so they don't pull any Mother Commands You poo poo. The second go around, again Jason, I bust into a cabin of Chads. Just, a virtual clown house of Chads. A loving Chad Army. I get in, get knocked the gently caress down by something or other, am just getting knocked around real bad. Tinfoil, another Chad, sets down a bear trap. I see this as I go down. I go down, can't see anything going on over that direction, mashing E to get up, and I hear all this screaming about the trap and the Chads going on about a Fellow Chad. I get up and I see Tin Foil struggling to recover from apparently getting into HIS OWN TRAP. I grab him and then there was one less Chad. Still not sure what the gently caress happened there.

Yeah if Jason grabs someone and you have a shotgun DON'T SHOOT JASON YOU'LL KILL THE PERSON HE'S HOLDING THIS HAS HAPPENED EVERY SINGLE TIME I'VE SEEN IT TRIED. Unless it's Tinfoil, obviously.

As someone who seems to get jason a whole bunch they really need to nerf teleport and grab. Make it so that you can attack but not grab. Too many games have been complete shutouts within the first 3 minutes when I've played. I've stopped doing it otherwise literally no one I've played with can barely search cabins.

I managed to unlock the Super Fan achievement (play as each counselor) by only ever playing AJ and the girl with 10 composure. Every other achievement I've actually met the requirements of continues to elude me. As for the telegrab make Jason unable to act for a second after teleporting but boost the fear effect the closer you teleport to someone. Whole point is to wear them down so they tire or trip. Controversial opinion time: I don't think Jason should have throwing knifes or should have access to very little. Too easy to get people limping and shut down a good chase.

The Non Running Jasons really need them though. Plus, Jason has always used projectiles. Throwing knives, axes, harpoon guns, bows and arrows So I'm glad they're in.

Had probably the smoothest getaway I've seen anyone manage so far. Spawned with a friend in the same general area as one another, immediately found the car battery and the phone box fuse in the same building. And he finds the car keys. So we head over to work on the car- and Jason pops up on the way there. And suddenly just leaves. I guess he didn't care about us? I don't know what his deal was. So I fix the car battery, then find the gasoline right away in the building next to the car. Throw that in, friend with the keys starts it up, and we just cruise away. Jason teleports near us, but not well- he just appears on the side of the road, and can't do anything but watch us drive past him. We escape and it hasn't even been 5 minutes into the match yet. Huge XP. And then I realize... I still had the phone fuse on me. And I left. The rest of the players in that match had no way to escape- we took the car, and stole the part they needed to be able to call the cops. Whoops, hope you can survive until the end I guess. (spoiler: they didnt)

It gives you an immediate objective to work for (which is something the farther flung spawns don't have thanks to no map) and you at least know where you stand on the target list. The big difference I feel is that instead of immediately looking to put parts on the car you should move the parts outside to the main trail, or at least in front of the door of the cabin where it will be visible to the team. It takes half the time and keeps you much closer to cabins that you can use to get defenses against Jason. Particularly if you have 1 Repair, there is zero shame in leaving parts near a car and loving off to find keys. An enterprising AJ will be along soon enough to assume the risk of installation for you, and even without a map you can keep an eye on the progress by checking the objective markers to see if things have happened on your preferred car.
