Your character is forced into more sexually exploitative situations as part of the plot than your average woman in Game of Thrones, and there's at least one random encounter that offers you three choices: become a prostitute, fight a ridiculously hard battle you probably can't win, or get gang raped and robbed. That was the point where I stopped playing.

I stopped talking with Berelinde, for example, after she kept insisting that gay people don't exist while I was writing the Valerie mod (who happens to be gay). Still have Valerie's BG2 and ToB stuff 75-80% completed on my computer, come to think of it.

She did not respond well to my argument that I wanted to write an NPC who happens to be gay who doesn't make a big deal about it, isn't closeted, and any potential relationship with her should be happy, upbeat, and end well. It's more the "tragic, doomed love that hurts and breaks both people" that was her particular hobbyhorse, but her incredibly homophobic read on the Realms was what made me stop talking to her.
