C Standard, and a couple songs in drop A#. We did 6 days in Florida a while back, and it was rad as gently caress. Thunderclap and Shroudeater are kickass bands that everyone in Florida should check out.

I've been in B and don't sound half that heavy. loving hell. Time to woodshed the riff writing.

I'll give them a listen. I've been so put off by the local scenes because all I used to hear was bad hardcore/bad deathcore/bad mathcore. The swamplands need more murky swampy gatordoom.

That song and video are both kicking rad (that's what the kids are saying right?). If you guys ever make it international and come to Australia I will gladly buy you a beer after some thorough dooming.

Reposting, this tour is about to kick off for us, if you guys wanna hear that song live, we're playing it, and some other new ones. Come grab a beer with me.

You're playing down the street from my house in Chicago. If I'd known further ahead of time I would've tried to snag a local opener spot!

Man, how did this pass me by? An unreleased Manatees LP was released a year or two ago:

RECORDED IN 2009 THIS FULL LENGTH ALBUM WAS SHELVED FOR REASONS BEYOND THE BANDS CONTROL AND A STRUGGLE TO RETRIEVE THE THE RIGHTS WHILST TOURING THE UK AND EUROPE TIRELESSLY ULTIMATELY PLAYED A PART IN THE END OF THE BAND BEFORE IT COULD BE RELEASED. SHELS MUSIC HAVING HEARD THE LOST RECORD HAVE DECIDED IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE SITTING ON A SHELF COLLECTING DUST AND ARE NOW RELEASING IT ON LTD 12" COLOURED VINYL.

Album is on Spotify. It's as interesting as they always have been as a sludge band hitting those experimental and emotional notes over some really loving good riffs.

Pallbearer are a way better live band but also it's gonna be a weird energy for a doom metal band (although I know Do Division likes to do weird poo poo like have The Body). I thought about going but I also just saw Pallbearer for the third time so I think I'll just watch the NBA Finals.

The Body last year owned. Tiny crowd, tons of people walking by covering their ears. The show at the Bottle after with Bloodyminded was even better.

Not primarily but they show a lot of influence and have worked it into their songs. They're absolutely in the current noise scene/circles/whatever though.

On their most recent tour they basically just did noise versions of their songs. It was equal parts bad and fantastic.

Been jamming the new Norska album since it came out and it is blowing my brains out. Extremely heavy, eclectic, and original.

Ordered the vinyl a while back and it didn't ship until days after the actual release. Anyone ever had problems with shipping from Brutal Panda Records?
