What I don't get, you have 331 seats, a simple majority. You're in good shape. Why get greedy and call a GE? I mean, I know let's really gently caress up Labour, but is there any benefit to having a bigger majority?

Even if the Tories hold the majority after the results come in, it is very very likely the Tories will gain at most 1 or 2 seats. There's no way this turns out to have been a good decision by May.
