Jim Vallance is an awesome gentleman and meeting him was one of the highlights of my career as an engineer / composer / arranger. Summer of 69' was one of the songs that made me want to learn an instrument (same with Total Eclipse of the Heart, Space Oddity and the Wizard, with the latter being the first song I actually learned, in Vocals and Harmonica). Ah, the perks of having a goofy, yet awesome mom who's encouraged my enjoyment of music and literature. Rather militarily and politically realistic. Many who don't typically watch anime would like it, so it has some broader appeal. The only real Aerosmith song that I'm pretty fond of is Jaded, so no comment on the band as a whole. I rephrased myself, it's not anything against sports anime, but they don't usually grab my attention. Chihayafuru is on the backlog, as is Yuri on Ice and Haikyuu

Someone suggest a bite size anime for my wife and I to watch (like 13-26 episodes max). Here are some series she's seen and liked: Cowboy Bebop Haibane Renmai FLCL Speed Grapher Gurren Lagann Eva Chobits My Hime I was looking at East of Eden but apparently the show is a massive loving disappointment despite it looking promising?
