Looking for something that vaguely touches on the same notes as Ke$ha and Tove Lo, any suggestions? Needn't be North American releases.

I heard this song recently and it hit something that I didn't realize I wanted: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knnf2Aw6kMU What I dig the most in it is the saxophone, I don't listen to much music (none that I can think of off the top of my head) that uses that instrument. I mean I like every bit of the song but when the sax came in the first time I listened to it is when I really was blown away. What I'd like is more modern music that uses the sax. Pop, indie, dance whatever, though stuff that sounds more similar to the above song would prolly be most likely to hit what I'm looking for.

Been getting into new-wavey type stuff lately with a bit more of a punk/ska/rock vibe to it. Thinking stuff like The Epoxies, Motion City Soundtrack, The Hippos, and even newer Bloodhound Gang. Any thoughts? I just want something with that synthesizery sound to it.

Lookin for some upbeat synthpop/pop/electronic (preferably with female vocals) as I have been listening to sad indie and folk music for too long. I've been looking for instrumental music with a rock bent. Something like Frank Zappa's Hot Rats, or the band Can, or Delicate Steve. I'm just tired of my instrumental playlist being funk, trance, jazz, and brass.

I like extreme and thrash metal but death/gore/horror subject matter doesn't really interest me much (although I do like Suffocation, Caracass, Horrendous and Death). I like Fallujah, Godflesh, Converge, Mr.Bungle, Napalm Death, Every Time I Die, Municipal Waste, Power Trip, Pig Destroyer, Nails, The Locust, Cobalt, Melt Banana, Voivod, gently caress the Facts, Strapping Young Lad/Devin's solo stuff, Melechesh, Vektor, and Fantomas. I also like Doom as a genre a lot but I don't have much trouble finding it because it seems to be going through a renaissance right now. Anyway, recs please.
