Regardless, Bill tweeted about a "short spotlight on Nintendo Switch holiday games followed by hours of Nintendo Treehouse Live" so I doubt we'll see anything huge. I'd love to be surprised, but when Nintendo is trying to control expectations beforehand, that means something.

Wow maybe I'm just too old to be a part of the goon hive mind anymore. I loved the new MST3K, it filled me with nostalgia and hit just the right notes for a cheesy movie delivery vehicle. I also thought Ubisoft's presentation was juvenile and filled with games I don't trust them to make well. Sony's presentation was solid and had a bunch of games I will eventually buy if I don't die waiting for them to come out.

The worst part about wanting a new Metroid is that Metroid Prime 3 and Federation Force both ended with the same cliffhanger, so we know SOMETHING must be coming eventually, we just don't know when or what form it will take.

It doesn't really feel like we'll be getting much in the way of surprises, but this is still my favorite part of E3 and I'm hyped. Pretty much all the criticisms I've seen of it could be made of the original as well (awkward skits, trying to cram too many riffs in, etc.). But obviously people were gonna be disappointed if they were expecting the exact same show.

Yeah, there was some stinker episodes but that is true of the old ones too and it always had changing casts and writers so it's not even like it's some impure remake of the real original or something.

It amuses me that the interquel trilogy ended on a cliffhanger. I just want a continuation of where Fusion left off. Samus, now half Metroid and an enemy of the Federation, on the run. It's like waiting for Half Life 3. At least we know that's not happening.
