Wasn't really into this week's episode, mostly because of Marty. He works best in small doses, but the creepy gently caress was all over the show this week and just made me feel kinda gross for watching it. Like, we know he's obsessed with Melissa, that's well-established. I really didn't need to see him using Melissa photos as jizz rags just to drive that point home. I'm actually interested in the Melissa/Fenix pairing and how that plays off Marty's stalking, but that whole scene in the room felt like overkill and dragged down the rest of the episode.

IIRC he needed back surgery and the death match with Mil at UL2 was a way to write him off most of Season 3. I think he came back in time for some late-season tapings, but can't confirm without spoiling myself on stuff. But yeah, I miss Cuerno too..  He was shaping up to be one of the show's breakout stars before the injuries and weird backstage drama happened.

Lucha Underground approached me with doing their shows and their first episodes. I flew out to Los Angeles and I saw the thing and I was blown away, but their contracts were pretty iron-clad and I wasn't ready to sign that deal.
