How is this poo poo supposed to work? I paid WEC for the feed but there's no video even after I enabled Flash? I have Radio Le Mans on TuneIn on standby in case they're not on the regular feed.

10€ for Le Mans only (30€ for the full WEC season) streaming both on app and fiawec.com. Numerous teams have free on-board streams using the Radio Le Mans feed.

The app didn't want to let me in for a while but the stream's gone okay, keeps dropping off Chromecast for some reason.

First retirement of the race is the 88!

I don't know what you do for a competition in that situation.

When's the last time an LMP2 car won the race? Looks like it might happen if the Porsche gets into any sort of trouble.

just on memory, you'd have to go back to when the Prototype field was thin and not-factory supported to get a lower-class win...

...by the GT McLaren F1. In 1995.

I don't count Porsche winning with the 911 GT1 in 1998, since those were basically coupe LMPs by that point.

One of them was driver error and subsequent puncture that resulted in the rear left quadrant of the car getting shredded and lit on fire.

Kilonum

You know where you are? You're in the suburbs, baby. You're gonna drive.

#7 was the clutch, #9 was a tire puncture that shredded the left rear and knocked out the hydraulics, keeping it in 5th gear and the fluid leak eventually caught fire.

LMP1 Podium: 1, 8, 2 Technically I had the three Podium getters right, but I had the order of the Porsches wrong
LMP2 Podium: 13, 28, 31 I had the 13 in the wrong spot and I got the rest wrong
LMGTE Pro Podium: 82, 95, 91 Nope nope nope
LMGTE Am Podium: 98, 65, 93 Nope nope nope

Not even going to bother checking these since they're all horrifyingly wrong

Hour 16 class leaders: 8, 28, 95, 98
Hour 20 class leaders: 1, 13, 95, 98

Bold Predictions:
Porsche will get a "podium" (finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd) in all three classes it competes in. Nope.
ByKolles will not finish the race That's not bold... hrmm...
ByKolles will finish the race with times that would disappoint an LMP2 team. (the bold part is the part where they finish the race). I should've stuck with my safe prediction
Fabien Barthez will perform an amazing save that defies logic and potentially physics as well. (For the people that don't know, Fabien Barthez is driving an LMP2 car and used to be the French National Soccer team's goalkeeper). I don't think he finished

Not a Prediction:
Ford and GM can gently caress off the face of the world already with their loving garbage cars.
Seriously, "Let's put Ecoboost on a car that gets less than 20m/g" loving die already. [i]Still true.

LMP1 = 6 points (#8 and #1 finished 3rd and 2nd in LMP1)

LMGTE Am = 5 points (#62 finished 3rd in class as predicted)

Bold Predictions: Jota Sport (Jackie Chan DC Racing) will take the lead after the first round of pit stops and win LMP2.
SUCCESS. I meant to say that Jota would take class lead, but what I actually wrote was "take the lead," so technically I predicted their near win as well as their LMP2 win.

Lots of attrition with the P1 cars with Porsche and Toyota going into the garage a lot (Two LMP1s survived, 5 points).
Bykolles burns a stack of money (I mean, it's not wrong, but not that bold, 1 point).
Ford is about the same as they are last year with Ferrari trying their best to attack them (Aston dominated most of the race).
A GTEAM takes out one of the p1 cars early in the race in a dumbfuck manner (If you said LMP2 car, you'd be right except the early part).
overall win goes to last car standing (Close, more or less, 2 points).
