Hello? Can you hear me? ...Perhaps if I shout? AAAAAAAAAH!
I'm sure that someone mentioned that no GM under Dan Gilbert's tenure has ever re-signed after their initial contract.

I'm guessing David Griffin doesn't want to be blamed for Lebron orchestrated foolishness and so they're looking for a stooge. David Griffin did a great job of having the lottery rigged for him and hopefully he'll bring that somewhere else

Eh. Around the league people are blaming Gilbert(has never kept a GM past one contract IIRC.)

The Lebron blame here is likely jokes.

I can't decide how much the Bulls would need to be compensated for taking on Knight's salary, since they're going to suck anyway

Why in the world would they give up on the upside of Chriss and Warren for a guy who's 8 years older than Devin Booker, without a team that can even compete for the playoffs

If the suns are willing to give away their dual combo guards for free, they will, they do a good job of staying out of games via injury anyway, so the tank can continue

The one thing I will say about Love's time with the Cavs is it has made the prospect of sitting through a game featuring him in Phoenix to be a much more pleasant idea than when there were rumors of him coming over to Phoenix from the Timberwolves.

Space Camp fuckup posted:

I dunno why the Suns would trade for Love at this point. He doesn't fit the timeline of the rest of the team and they'd still probably miss the playoffs.

You have to admit that this is the longest that Sarver has put up with a 1/4-1/2 empty building without a panic move for a player who doesn't really fit with the GM's plan to market around. The fact that he's been holding out this long is commendable.

Embiid hasn't played meaningful minutes yet (less than 800 in the 3 years since drafted) and they didn't use the picks, they just traded some to move up. I assume that's what he meant by "They'll never use those picks" because otherwise its pretty nonsensical.
