 Now that there are some Jimmy Butler trade rumors, please join me in outlining all of the potentially disastrous trades that the Bulls' front office will do to waste their best player in a generation. As a reference, please remember that they just traded an NBA starter, a useful bench player, and a second round pick for a G-League player. Let's get rolling: 1. Bulls trade Butler for Jahlil Okafor and the Sixers' 2018 pick. 2. Bulls trade Butler for Jahlil Okafor and Jae Crowder, throw in second-round pick 3. Bulls trade Butler to reaquire Doug McDermott, build statue to McDermott outside United Center 4. Bulls trade Butler for package of picks and the rights to Emeka Okafor 5. Bulls trade Butler for an older, shittier Dwyane Wade, somehow 6. Bulls trade Butler for Marcus Smart and an old chart showing how to play defense under Thibs that someone found in an old binder 7. Bulls trade Butler for suite of picks, draft the entire starting lineup of the Iowa State Cyclones 8. Bulls trade Butler for a bunch of lovely dudes, invite Bryon Russell to the United Center to be laughed at during halftime of the Bulls getting blown out by the Nets. These loving maniacs. These desperate, coach-strangling dimbulbs.
