Reach for the moon!
In non lovely idiot news, I learned how to make Guitar Hero 3 custom songs and it's way way easier than making ones for Rock Band.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOhreRXJ5d0

I made this one for my sister, it's her favorite song and she is a big fuckin plastic guitar genre nerdo like me. Next I'll make something faster paced/more exciting I think.

I was considering doing a really hard song but I'm not as good at guitar hero as I used to be so it'd be hard to make it fun if I couldn't test it cuz I couldn't beat it myself. I probably will do one anyway lol

Snak, two things:
1) Twin Snakes is a redone MGS, and some changes weren't well received, but the controls were revamped. If you want a control style, and just the overall gaming experience (not the "true original gaming experience as god intended"), then it's worth at least considering.

2)Keep in mind that Peace Walker was designed for a portable gaming experience, so it plays in fairly short chapters. This actually is good, because getting your S-ranks are slightly easier to grind, thus giving you the sweet unlocked loot

Hidden thing #3) In PW, you can borrow equipment in co-op mode if you stay close, and you can clown on everything with all the end-game stronk items if you're impatient

It says "ば-っ!", which is "Ba-fu!" in hiragana. So yes, yes they do say BARF in the original version of RCR.

that's げ-っ ge-small tsu (in this particular context, indicates kinda like a glottal stop) so maybe more like "guh" but i mean sure it can be like the vocal sound you make before the vomit plugs up your esophagus

It's close enough for me to be able to say the translation's accurate, and that's all I care about! :haw:

In my defense, the NES is not kind to hiragana.

Mench'n-a-go-go-baby!
I guess I'm glad to get a definitive answer about this now rather than wait a year or so and find out then:

quote:

Shadow of the Colossus game director Fumito Ueda submitted a proposal of changes to Sony for the upcoming and recently announced PS4 remake. But he doesn't know if they'll get in.

Speaking to me via translator at the Gamelab conference in Barcelona, he said, "I transmitted my petition about the content and tuning but I don't know the implementation will be what I told."

"It's he who wants to change something," his translator clarified, "but he doesn't know if it is possible to change all of the things he [wants] to change."

Ueda continued: "Those things of the remake that I would like to change, I can't mention, because if I say one thing and in the final version that thing is not included, it's a problem."

Sony announced the Shadow of the Colossus PS4 remake at E3, revealing Texan developer Bluepoint as the studio doing the work - Bluepoint being the team which remastered Ico and Shadow of the Colossus for PS3. It's something of a remaster specialist.

Sony's Shuhei Yoshida said to Japanese magazine Famitsu that Ueda "wasn't that involved" and no content would be altered, just assets. Speaking to me, Ueda seemed to back that up, saying he wasn't implicated in overseeing the whole process but was focusing on his own new game instead.

He also shot down any hopes of any cut Shadow of the Colossus bosses being reinstated and finally seeing the light of day

"In this game there are 16 enemies and there's a story about 16 enemies," he told me, "so to change this history... I don't think about changing this history. It's finished with 16 enemies. It's OK."
