The triangular splat bombs have gotten ridiculously lethal. Reminds me of the old days of splatoon 1 pre-nerf

How the hell do I jump to a teammate I press X and I press the button corresponding to the one I want to jump to... then nothing. I'm gonna smash a bro

I was really having to wait forever to find matches as Ice Cream, because it took about 40 seconds for it to decide to just make it ice cream vs ice cream. I deleted my save data, rejoined as cake and there was basically no waiting after that. Cake is the superior food.

For those of you struggling with the motion control, try these settings: Motion Control Sensitivity: -3 Sensitivity: 1.5 If it's working out for you, you might want to tweak the motion control sensitivity up to -2.5 Shifty gimbal fucked around with this message at 00:13 on Jul 16, 2017 |

Don't believe the motion control propaganda, you'll do just fine with the stick alone, with a bonus of not getting carpal tunnel from waggling like an idiot to shoot someone

The motion controls would be perfect if I could also use the stick for Y axis, motion is great for fine-tuning

Seems like on US you either stomp or get stomped. Was having much closer games on the JP and EU servers earlier.

If you have the Inkjet and you're on Art Blot Academy, what I like to do is, when it's about ten seconds left on the clock, I run to the right of the center and use the Inkjet to paint up the one-way slope towards the enemy base. Get that little extra bit of ink in before the tally.

Another thing to remember about not using motion is that this game doesn't have auto aim like other duel stick shooters so it's pretty lovely to aim.

Man, I can already tell my muscle memory is going to be a bitch to retrain between the right stick being below the buttons now, the jump being mapped to B rather than X, and the new map to Super Jump mechanics. Besides that, game owns bones and I can't wait to get the full game next week and splat some toons with my goon brethren.

It's probably because solo and team matches are part of splatfest scoring and a team that has a solo queue fill would inherently have a communication disadvantage vs a normal 4 stack.

Yeah, I hope any of the ones we haven't seen yet are also like this because some of the specials in the original were just infuriating to be on the other side of.
