It's not just on SA, the internet as a whole has noticeably given far less a gently caress about spoilers. Obviously surpassing the books is a big part of it but I think tons of people just don't give a gently caress about what really happens anymore. They just want it over with.

I have not much been paying attention to spoilers for this season and I'm excited because of that But I'm sorry GOT plays second fiddle to Twin Peaks this summer. I may love silly fantasy bullshit and Cersei's butch new haircut and Queen of Darkness outfit (frankly I kinda hope she has tons more havoc to wreak because she's the best villain the show's had after Tywin). But all that said, David Lynch making an 18-hour-long film as a sequel to possibly my favorite film ever made (TP:FWWM) doesn't exactly happen that often, or EVER, and I'm still not convinced the whole show isn't just a delusional fantasy I am having. But yeah, I mean.. I'll probably watch this, after TP. Maybe.

I used to poo poo all over GoT the show until I read to book 5 and just couldn't finish it. Over the last couple weeks, though, I've listened to all of the Ringer's recap show, 'binge mode - game of thrones,' and I have to say that listening to two GoT-turbo-nerds practically pass out while breathlessly describing all the intricate plot twists, reveals, and callbacks has me completely re-evaluating the show. It certainly isn't the best thing I've ever seen at times, but I am amazed at how the plots all fit together.
