For some reason I think pure digital fits the Switch, so I am waiting for the download. Only Physical switch game I got is Zelda and that was at launch.

Most of splat1 came down to "stack more damage or speed" but it seems like they removed those so it'll be more fun this time around to try different things. The ones that keep your super through dying are good for new players. First-party digital downloads are pretty much always way tinier than what third parties put out. Splatoon also has an art style where they can save space on textures by just applying shaders to flat colours instead, so that approach could knock a nice chunk off the filesize.

They mentioned some things only being available through Salmon Run, so who knows. Really though you probably don't want to bother stacking defensive skills when you could be getting power ups that let you kill them first.

I think Ink Up + Ninja Squid + Ninja Jump were the 3 I always used, at least for Turf War. Maybe Swim Speed Up instead of Ninja Squid. It's almost midnight here! I'm gettin hella sleepy but definitely staying up to play for an hour or so

According to the official Tumblr, the ability doubler main is only available on the splatfest tee. Going to bed now but Splatoon 2 is the bloody good video game. Got to level 4 so I could stop using the Splattershot Jr and get some fresh duds then played a bit more because of course. First few matches were irritating because I was with awful people who seemed to largely be treating the game like a straight shooter (that they were bad at) but once I quit and re-entered the lobby I got paired up with better people and it was a blast again.
