I was at the 10 year anniversary Awesome Show tour in Philly tonight. I've seen them in person five or six times now but I think this tour was the funniest. If it's near you, you should definitely go.

Just caught up on the last two. Love the Sully 2 bit with Kington establishing that he did indeed see the first on the day it came out. Also glad they got Dr. San to film something before his death.

"Gregg" and "Tim" are so petty that they bring up stupid poo poo like whether or not he saw Sully in the middle of their action drama. The continuity and character work on On Cinema and Decker is somehow the best on TV.

Yeah, I really liked the Charlie Chaplin bit at the end of season 2 for the same reason. Something that is weirdly funny on its own, but knowledge of On Cinema adds a whole new layer to it.

That being said, I am curious how people who never watch On Cinema feel about Decker. I feel like there are a number of aspects that just feel out of place without knowing about the "real" Gregg and Tim's antics.

He severely injured/burned himself when he fell asleep with a lit vape or something while he was living in Gregg's storage facility/the Victorville Film Archives.

Very happy that we not only had confirmation that Star Trek II is indeed set in San Francisco (if I remember, that joke began back during the original audio podcast) but also that it led to a storyline where Decker massacres grey aliens and Mark plays WC-PO.

I think the three of them, Tim, Eric, and Gregg, have a better grasp on politics and culture than most people. You don't get much more prescient than this.

Man I really don't like what Dr. Steve Brule developed into over the course of Check It Out.

I miss the lovable doofus who gave tips on living on his lonesome.

Also jesus, Weird Al finally started showing his age after four decades as a 20-year-old

Thought the Steve Brule was a little weak, but overall the special was awesome. Loved to see a bunch of the regulars return, and was expecting a big final scene of everyone together, but then they just reschedule their tae kwan doo and tai chisch events. Haha. And the poor Mahanahans just can't catch a break

Or you can see me at The Riviera. Tuesday nights.
Pillowfights with Dominican mothers.
Yep, those were both awesome episodes. I'm so excited to have this show back.

The concept alone of a 24-hour piano store run exclusively by diabetics is still cracking me up. It's the exact kind of bizarre idea those guys would come up with.

That was one of the episodes of Bedtime Stories where I didn't find it that funny, but it was fascinating to watch. They're good at making a surreal world in eleven minutes or less. The cast was top tier too. I never would've thought of grouping Ray Wise, Rhea Perlman, and Jorge Garcia but I'm glad Tim and Eric did.

it's been p clear over the past couple years that Tim has gone full dad and Eric has gone full midlife crisis. I'm glad they still collaborate with room for their own project to breath tho. On Cinema has really pushed Tim's acting to a new level

I definitely feel like the last 2-3 years, seeing their own projects, I've gotten a much better sense of what parts of Awesome Show, Check it Out, etc., come from whom.

Tim and Eric were on Colbert last night, ostensibly promoting the season finale of Bedtime Stories but mainly doing a fairly sanitized version of their Clown Town bit. Not super memorable, but if you had told me ten years ago that Tim and Eric would do something with Colbert at one point, I would have been thrilled.

Is this a kickoff of On Cinema s10?

"Big news from Tim:

A trial date has been set for the #ElectricSun20 incident. I am being charged with 20 counts of 2nd Degree murder!!! Unbelievable!

The trial will begin on Nov 15th in San Bernardino Co. I am being repped by the great Mark Dwyer Esq. He rocks! No worries there!
I am looking forward to proving my total innocence and clear my good name! as well as start my foundation #ElectricSun20Foundation which will help kids achieve their dreams!

It's really hosed up how they don't consider that the vast majority of attendees did not die! Twenty out of a few thousand is a pretty good ratio.

Adult Swim had a new episode of Check It Out with Scott Clam tonight. It was Scott Clam and David Liebehart talking about trains for ten minutes, then David sang a song about the train that used to run between Milwaukee and Chicago.

More Brule on the horizon?
