Aimed directly at any lurking CIG drone : Why even loving bother with a race variant, it's not like you've actually finished an area for it to race on without glitching like fuckery into everything. Actually when was the last time CIG finalised/finished literally *anything*?

If you're going to the effort though, add a bunch of useless vents to suck in the thick moon atmosphere, a aero foil/spoiler on the roof for downforce for when it runs low on gravity goo, a thruster for "boosting" with, and a drive train with actual wheels attatched to it rather than bogey spigots from a WW1/2 tank. Oh and if putting usable road wheels on is too much trouble or not enough fidelity for the grand thumb-ble gently caress, don't forget to raise the ride height from the chassis to the terrain so that the usual ground quality of a moon and wafer thin mints don't cause it to ground out.

Of course, all well designed ground vehicles ever have absolutely zero bracing between the rear wheels and put the pivot point of the trailing arm near the middle (both in length and in height) of the vehicle body, this totally means the rear wheels won't bounce inwards and outwards on every bump it hits and it totally won't be completely uncontrolable on corners. Always good to have the rear drive wheels trailing way behind the rearmost end too in order to get as much "holy gently caress it's flipping end over end on accelleration!!" as possible when going up hills

(I'm nitpicking and bringing in some actual automotive engineering knowledge as I really hate that dumb offroad design they've come up with) :classiclol:

Hello, Commandos! I know I said I was going to quit making GBS threads up the thread with my pledge recruitment drives, so this is going to be the last one. All future stream shilling will be limited to the Streaming Thread in the LP sub forum for the foreseeable future. That said, here's our current mission status:

Though several key members of Goon Crew's A squad have been winged, singed, concussed and scuffed, we haven't taken any major casualties since Kosumo's unfortunate death at the hands of a drunk, incompetent commander. Several of our rookie recruits have grown into fully fledged Goons and we're on the way to tackling our first big story mission, as it's very likely going to bite us in the rear end that we've put it off for so long.

With the campaign having gone relatively smooth so far, I sense misadventure and death in our immediate future, so if ever there was a time that Goon Crew needed support, it's now!

Pledge your loyalty and get a kickin' rad Goon Commando geared up to take the fight to the Vanduul Advent Chilldankli Stimpire.

The best part of this is the showcase of Chris Roberts as his last foray into pc gaming was when the Voodoo card was just starting to get popular, and a texture map on a box was just becoming a reality.

Yes, backers, this guy who barely even coded 20 years ago is totally going to redefine technology today. He's got such experts as modders as his lead programming staff.

Be in awe as your epic space adventure turns into a third rate, but super pretty, barely functional Call of Duty ripoff with about a 13 player cap on this badass MMO environment, where communication technology for the Internet was rebuilt worse by first job college graduates.

I'm so excited for the future I made a wet spot! :ohdear:

The Titanic

No, this is why within 45 minutes of anything going live there will be 200 players on it already discovering it, 60 of them camping the spot to grief people, 10 of them making a YouTube video of first contact, and 5 of them writing comprehensive wiki articles about the loot, location it can be found, monsters and what to expect, and relative strategies to beat it and farm it.

But yeah, exploration is totally a viable job and there will be easily almost maybe 50 points of interest waiting for you to discover in maybe almost 15 locations of which probably only 4 will actually be landable.

Oh and you can race in the worlds shittiest dune buggy masquerading behind the mechanics of a standard CryEngine jeep.
