Rightfully so- considering how much love, affection and undying loyalty they provide us, it seems like a warm, wantless life with no hunger or attention is the least we can do for them. I'm not normally one for small, princessy dogs, but JFC the little American Eskimo/Pomeranian mix I dogsat this past week was such a little love. I needed my hands to take this picture, but don't worry- as soon as I put my phone down, I went right back to giving her the pettes she deserved.

Monty saved my life so I'm not ashamed to say that I feel like I'm perpetually indebted to him.  It's kind of amazing how much of a mirror for me he is. His behavior is directly related to my mood even when I don't think I'm acting any different.
