After that I took the long way around, climbed up the perch, and splatted him. And then realized that we had a team kill, so I went over to their spawn and spawncamped him for the last 30 seconds. I hate snipers in FPSes because it turns the game into unfun laser beam dodging and if you're using a sniper rifle I will do what I can to gently caress up your day.

Either team can grab the rainmaker after it pops, but it makes a big explosion in the colour of the team that pops it, so there's that. Each map has 2-3 ways to the enemy base available to the rainmaker, be aware of them and take the route with the least resistance. Sometimes it is better not to shoot and just go into squid and swim for it if you have a lane. Sometimes it is better to take the Rainmaker straight into the enemy just to get some extra yardage before dying if your team is wiped - it is almost never worth it to run the rainmaker backwards to "protect" it when your team is dead. If the other team is diving hard, shoot the Rainmaker at your feet. If the Rainmaker is deep in your territory and you're having trouble breaking even, you can jump it off the map to reset it to the starting point. If you're escorting the Rainmaker, make sure there are people between it and the enemy - if you can't see 4 enemies ahead of you someone is trying to flank you. They don't need to kill everyone, they just need to drop the Rainmaker. If you're carrying the Rainmaker, follow the person spamming THIS WAY who is trying to escort you.

There's a finite amount of tickets in SP now that they patched it. I think if you explore thoroughly it's like 6 of each type? You can get tickets from salmon run regularly, if the color of the bonus gachapon is orange or blue it's a random ticket

I wonder if the tickets in the actual levels themselves reset. They do take more effort to get to, but could still potentially be farmed.

I mean, I get the general gist of Rainmaker, but in all the games I have played I haven't seen it delivered even once - what's the secondary objective? Get it as close as you can? Paint the most crap on the ground?

Respawn Punisher might make a good cornerstone of a Charger build, i don't think anyone who wants Ninja is going to want Punisher. If you break even or even go positive, it depends on how valuable you are to maintaining the objective. As I said, I foresee crazy Punisher charger kits.

Pro tips pubbies don't seem to get. The more people are on the tower the faster it moves. Don't jump off just because someone else showed up on it. Don't fire the rainmaker unless you really have to. Shooting the rainmaker puts your location on the maps and huds of the other team.
