It's amazing how Mets pitchers keep getting hand numbness and they either don't tell the medical staff or the medical staff ignores it. Robles says he didn't tell anybody about it last night, but Familia told the trainers and they just slapped him on the butt and sent him back to the mound. It's loving insane.

I was the one that called the Cubs scoring 8 runs before it started. You said Quintana would give up 9 and he only gave up 6. :colbert:

But you were right about the Cubs losing despite scoring 8. :negative:

Altuve was also in a bit of a slump until tonight (not that it mattered)

Altuve is ridiculous. He goes .485/.523/.727 for June, setting a standard that allows two hitless to be recognized as a slump. Then he breaks that Altuve-level slump by going 3-4 with a home run.

Please stay healthy forever, Jose.

Were it not for one game with 6 K and one with 7, Sale would have had 20 consecutive games with 9+ K this season (204 K over that span). Consecutive records are BS

This is dumb because we already know that the final World Series will be played in 2042, when Buck Bokai hits the winning home run for the London Kings before an audience of about 300 spectators.
