Spoiler: The Gauss Rifle is actually pretty awful. And the variants not the common one are a lot worse due to trading semi-auto for burst fire. But if you can keep it fully charged, go for it.

Did anyone make a CODWWII thread? Beta is coming out this month so we can all complain about how awful the beta is and then blindly pick it up later. If there isn't one I might work on one now that I have some free time. Also, wanted to post this here because this is like, 1 out of 3 threads that I follow on this forum. Over the last 3 weeks I made a game for the Something Awful Summer Jam called Tamal E:\ Drive and it's on itch.io if anyone is interested. I figured this was the case but just wanted to confirm: Making games is hard.

I've also found out that opinions about the quality of a game, turns out are all subjective. But making a game is fun, although very stressful and I'm still not quite sure if it's rewarding enough (mentally) for the amount of hell we went through. Also I'm still waiting on a price drop for COD4. I'd really like to replay the campaign.
