Has anyone tried the Mayflash adapter that lets you use Wii U Pro / X360 / Xbone / PS4 controllers on the Switch yet? Minecraft has never looked like my thing but the DQ aesthetics supporting a game an objective driven crafting game was quite fun to me.

You don't get time to build your solid gold castle because the game really wants you to focus on the story and quests. DQB1 actually had a separate sandbox mode but you unlocked blocks for it by playing the story. More importantly the world in DQB1 was static and hand crafted so there were tons of neat dungeons and caves if you explored enough, hopefully DQB2 is the same. It was also the least grindy DQ game I played and that blew me away considering its influences

Oh sweet I didn't know that adapter was out yet. I got their adapter for the PC that lets you use your Wii U pro controller and it works great

I don't have a link, I posted a video with a demonstration a couple pages ago though. It's from a British guy so maybe it's just a European product. To get motion to work was just a firmware update to the dongle.

The PS4 controllers have gyroscopes so motion control would work with that adapter, but none of the others will. I have a 5hr flight coming up next weekend and I'll probably bring my Switch. I don't really want to carry two chargers so I'm hoping that if my MBP's USB-C charger can charge a beefy laptop it will do well with the Switch. Should be good, right? I'll just need to Amazon a stand if that's the case.

Quick question I travel a lot for work and my switch has been a godsend. I'm currently taking the cable that came with my pro controller plugged into the end from an iPhone charger to charge it but it's very slow. Would it be better to get one of the real chargers from Nintendo? Just want to get a charge faster.

Yeah, I travel for work about 50% of the year for 4 days at a time and the annoyance factor in having to pull the cable out from behind the entertainment unit every time is far greater than just buying a second charger.
