Discovered that Pit Pat has built a nest under the bed. Pictured: One of several cups he's dragged under the bed, for reasons unknown. Not pictured: The stockpile of treats on the other side of the towel, presumably why he looks like Gollum hoarding his precious.

If there is food cooking on the stove, Jade will not, under any circumstance (food or otherwise) go through the kitchen to go outside. I try not to take it as personal against my cooking.

Our older abused rescue Maggie was the same way with dry kibble. Previous owner gave her half a can of moist food a day, spent the rest on alcohol

 Lydia had surgery yesterday to remove a lump. Today my ex had to rush her to the hospital with breathing issues, she was turning blue. She is currently having a second surgery to hopefully fix her up but I am not optimistic. Go hug your pets and send some happy thoughts Lydia's way please.
