2003 to I want to say 2008, basically my college years, was kind of a weird/dark time for me and video games. I can remember a few notable titles but I otherwise largely skipped games that were not flagship Nintendo titles or things on the DS. The result of my actions resulted in an enormous PS2 backlog that took me nearly 10 years to eventually complete.

I don't specifically remember 2003 but I think Castlevania and Megaman weren't dead yet so I was probably playing one of those. It's hard to remember it's been so long. fake edit: yeah no, 2003 was rad after looking at a list
