Also I feel that unless a backer is conned in by a friend from some sort of referral process unaware, I don't think backers quite deserve the concept of being "innocent chumps in need of rescue." That time passed around November of last year. At this point they pretty much deserve everything CR dishes out to them. There will still be smart ones, but I think we've reached peak "scam realization" by the general public.

If he really felt compunction over anything, he wouldn't let his dad continue to be a citizen, let alone bring him on streams and such.
