The winner of this series is a lock for Worlds, the loser is not. If KT Rolster win the whole thing, SKT go on points. But if LZ win, KT go on points and SKT have to go into the gauntlet.

While some people find SKT winning boring, I find it incredibly exciting to see just how long they can continue their dominance. Every team in the world is gunning out for them, so staying on the top can't be easy.

I am entertained so long as pick/ban and the occasional clutch macro decisions matter . If they could do whatever and still roll like it was co-op v AI or something then that would be different.
