I didn't like the shooting in Uncharted 4, the weird combination of crosshair bloom + wiggly middle of crosshair + camera shake felt really hard to handle. I don't understand why the dot thing at the center of the crosshair moves independently from the rest of the crosshair, who made that decision and how fast can I get them reassigned to worse video game series'

Had to turn it off a few times as some side content is not completable with it on but it saves a lot of frustration otherwise

in UC4 it's also possible to stealth or skip like 9/10 combat encounters. run and gun and melee are also strong options.

I really like new Sanic but it sucks that the controls are still rear end when you're not in "gotta go fast" mode. The momentum thing is so annoying when you're trying to line up a jump or hit an enemy and end up losing all your rings because you skittered too far in one direction.

I'm sure that Uncharted dlc looks fine when you're playing it but the constant youtube ads just make it look like a sub par cgi movie.

I was all ready to say AC0 is the perfect AC game because it had a bunch of short missions with branching paths and a cool setting and then I got to a classic 30 Minute Score Attack and i think I need to take a break from AC for a while.

Despite the fact I have Uncharted to play, I've been playing Disney Afternoon Collection all night. Beat Darkwing Duck properly because I never beat it and it's the unofficial other NES MegaMan game. Now I'm going through the rest and using rewind when I feel like it to beat these fun but already easy games. Hot take: the DuckTales Transylvania music is better than the Moon music

i like some of the assassins creed games and with that in mind, please please do not buy assassins creed games at launch. give it a month at least for reviews to settle. it's one of the most inconsistent video game series i can think of

I love Necrodancer and I'll go to bat for it any day but it has basically two characters who are fun to play, the pacifist character who's okay and a roguelike staple, and then 10 different shades of "we made this character with impossibly difficult restrictions for masochists to prove how hard they are." Which is fine, nobody comes to the genre without a little bit of masochism, but it'd be nice to have characters who get new toys to play with instead of just restrictions.

Ok I went back and tried that AC Zero mission again and they did the sensible thing of once you hit the score requirement the mission is over so it's actually only a 10 minute mission. Thank you Namco

Also I picked up Shadow Tactics, and it's fantastic. I had one small moment of frustration with the game getting stuck and refusing to let me do a downward jumping kill after I used the non-lethal attack, but it hasn't recurred, and otherwise it's exactly what I thought and hoped it would be.
