Speaking of gin and tonic, anyone ever try american gin as opposed to london dry? My sister gifted my dad with some, and it is definitely not something I like. I don't like the taste of juniper much, but london gin with tonic is great. It just tastes like pine tree to me. I'm not a big fan of beer but I once had a sam adams with juniper infused flavor, and it was like a double negative. Except it didn't even out it just made it worse.

I didn't even make it through the As before I counted 5 that were in regular use in my household when I was a kid. fake edit: jesus christ, 62 of those were in regular use by my family when I was growing up. A handful of them weren't offensive for the time/audience, but the rest definitely were. And I know I can add a pile to that list.

Trip Report! Plantar Fasciitis is loving horrible and oh god my feet hurt and i havent even done anything today. Apparently walking for 6 months in totally hosed workboots isnt good for you. WHO KNEW?

Brother and his partner were just over. They just had to make the choice to have their dog put down. 17yr old fuzzball that was totally blind, totally deaf but ended up with kidney failure. I was in the middle of cooking a roast for dinner, so it was simply a case of adding more veg and slicing the lamb thinner so we ended up with myself and my missus, the house mate, mum n dad and my brother and his missus for dinner on a monday. I'll drop everything for family to help out, and this gave them a chance to do some grieving with family and not have to worry about dinner, but oh dear god ive stood in front of the stove for about 4hrs now and my feet feel like someone has been driving hot nails into them. Not a good month for doggo's. Parents border collie went to sleep in the sun a few weeks ago and never woke up. He was 12.

Lady, you better be sure what you're asking, because NONE of the poo poo on your hard drive is valuable to me. edit: Oh, and she's not in today, but can sure put that ticket in so it just sits there in my queue. If he wanted any more we'd have to knock the CD drive off his machine or figure out an external thing. So we sent one of the guys to go help him clean out his machine. Yeah, dude had filled up all three drives with highly organized pornography. And considering the period, it must have been mostly still images.

You don't work in an SCCM managed environment, do you? I do, and I regularly see windows installs approaching 50Gb (the trick is to store at least three copies of every update/package.) The switch came right after we upgraded a lot of our bottom tier PCs with 64GB SSDs.
