Monty and the neighbor's 2 year old son played for 10 or so minutes this morning. When I had to put Monty back into the house to leave for school, the kid had a nervous breakdown. When I was driving off he was standing there reaching out to me crying hysterically (because if I leave, that means no more Monty). I told my neighbors they are welcome to walk Monty while I am at school, and they did. When they came back and she was putting Monty in my house, their baby started wigging out again. Monty got nervous and went out on the front porch and waited for the baby to calm down before he would go inside. Man it's fuckin heartbreaking.

Introducing the baby Jindo named Mochi. Ran into her as part of a 5 pup litter on the beach during a labor day motorcycle club party. The girlfriend fell in love, so we brought her back on the motorcycle in a backpack turned papoose and she slept the whole 4 hours home! Vet gave her a clean bill of health, and she's taken to crate training amazingly. I was holding out for a corgi, but I'm not regretting picking her up instead. Now just have to wait for the cats to accept her in to the family.

My backup hard drive, which housed all my photos from the end of high school up until about mid-2013, gave me the click of death when I plugged it in for the first time in years. I had to hire a technician to do $2000 worth of work in a clean room to attempt to get my data back, with only about a 30% chance of success. Turns out he was able to recover all of my old photos, including all of the photos of my beloved old dog who was with me from when I was nine to 21 years old.  loving worth every penny. Just let this be a reminder to BACK ALL OF YOUR loving poo poo UP IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS, especially if you have an awesome doggo that you can't stop taking pictures of. (This means all of you.)
