I just finished listening to Wildflowers. It's from this amazing period where all these Boomer artists started putting out gorgeously produced comeback albums. I really think VH1 was part of the reason, as they began to pivot from cheesy adult contemporary to something closer to Adult Album Alternative.

A few months ago, I also rediscovered "Don't come around here no more," which is just a fantastic headphones song and another mindbending video.

He is dead now btw. He was taken off life support and passed away. I think the initial reports got that information and thought he would die immediately when it usually takes a bit.

Going some pages back, but saw Future Islands in a sold out 400 person venue last night and it was as incredible as you could imagine. Played for two hours.

They played a brand new song they wrote on the road over the last three days for the first time ever, and it sounded great. Sam said they haven't written on the road like that in a long time, so hopefully they're off to a good start for a new album somewhere down the line.

I am seeing FI for like the 3rd time tonight, but in like a 3000 person capacity venue in Detroit. Feels like they really messed up the venue and wonder what's going to happen.

First three Go! It's been a while since I've been to a show and longer since I've had to use ticketmaster for one but gently caress their new site design.

I'm in NY trying to get tickets to see St. Vincent in Brooklyn in December. There was supposed to be a fan presale on Wednesday but the place to put in the code never showed up.

Now I can't even mash refresh like I used to because I'm trying to buy 4 tickets and everytime you hit refresh you have to re enter the amount of tickets you want. This is the stupidest loving thing. I'm gonna end up having to seatgeek or stub hub this poo poo I bet.

Edit: Yeah gently caress, this show went on sale ages ago, I saw that she added tour dates this week and thought Brooklyn was part of it since I missed the original announcement.

Still gently caress Ticketmaster's new site design, it's garbage.

I allways hit the box office and rarely have to deal with those garbage sites, thank you Midwest cities for not selling out everything in minutes. I sat on waiting to buy my St Vincent ticket for almost 2 months, than the venues street team did fee free sales at a record store. That is probably the only upside to not living on the coasts when it comes to music.
