Rageaholic Monkey posted:Seriously, Ken Burns is like mining Trent's discography on The Vietnam War. Not only have I heard multiple Ghosts tracks in here but now I'm loving hearing The Wretched. Well, I think it's only 1 CD worth if the track listing on Amazon is any indication, which is really not a lot, even with the other two CDs worth of licensed music.

Google Play Music shows it as and hour and a half, which is pretty long and definitely more than 1 CD. 17 tracks but most of them are 5+ minutes. Of course, the documentary is like a whole day's worth, so yeah. I haven't listened to it yet because, well, hour and a half.

Trent really should have been expected to come up with 18 hours of new music for this. Disappointing.

Greg Puciato (The Dillinger Escape Plan) talks about the Broken EP: https://www.revolvermag.com/music/fist-gently caress-enduring-relevance-nine-inch-nails-broken Which includes this rad onstage video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qboe5CebixA I remember seeing NIN and Dillinger Escape Plan at that festival at the Brisbane version, and while they didn't team up, it was great. I then travelled down to Sydney to see NIN's headline show, and bumped into them all doing to Sydney Harbour Bridge climb, before seeing Dillinger at an in-store a couple of hours later. Next month I'm flying back down to Sydney to see TDEP on their farewell tour, where they added in a last minute show at a 400 capacity venue when the rest of the farewell tour has been 1500+ cap, which is probably going to destroy me. I really like Broken, and I really like TDEP, and the fact that this is all coming up on almost being a decade ago is really crushing me dammit

Stopped working for me as well; guess somebody goofed at their job. The page says the track that was on there drops tomorrow though, so it won't be a long wait until we can take a listen for ourselves.

Vegas show opened with A Warm Place instead of the song from fireman so be on the lookout for that on some of these shows. Tobacco owns and I'm glad they're now confusing 40 year olds everywhere on these NIN shows.

El P always felt like a natural progression of Reznor industrial into hip hop. I wish they made a million songs like flyentology

I That's awesome, I also really dig def jux poo poo but got into it way late (long after it folded). Rob's stuff is cool, I especially played HMM's Bestiary a whole lot. I like his more laid back flow compared to Aesop's more intricate rhymes. The opening track alone was enough to pull me in and became one of my fav tracks of 2014. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNWdfo12Mio quote:I just wish El and Trent collaborated more! Same. Trent+El producing an industrial/hip-hop album would be loving amazing.

Is there any word on when the third EP in this set comes out? I just looked it up, and I guess they were released further apart than I thought: 12/22/16 - Not The Actual Events 07/19/17 - Add Violence

I think there's been a general sense that it might be out before the end of the year, but nothing concrete. Trent's original statement was that the EPs would come out "about 6-8 months apart", so he has until I guess like, March. Not that he's never made us wait longer than expected for something.

According to a post on reddit, NIN is changing fulfillment companies AGAIN, going with Livenation moving forward. I have worked with all three of the companies that Trent has been doing his fulfillment through this year. Sandbag is pretty bad, but Livenation is probably worse. Someone needs to come up with a better way to shop for fulfillment companies. Although maybe this means he'll be doing ticket bundles for a tour next year!
