people keep calling st pierre old and fat but bisping is 38 and couldn't fight anyone this year because his old man knees are all hosed up. He also looked like trash against really old non-trt dan henderson. Henderson has an inch on St. pierre and they are essentially the same size; both pretty small for middleweight. i think he will look better than BJ because he is more athletic, takes training seriously and was always in great shape from steroids. but i still think bisping takes the fight

The fight before was condit which was post surgery. The fight before that was shields and was pre surgery/injury, and gsp attempted 3 takedowns. He gassed his legs against diaz because diaz was threatening knee bars and gsp defended by leapfrogging over him repeatedly

Nick Diaz fought way outside his normal range though and GSP had to shoot from a million miles away. Nick Diaz is smart and good and his strategy worked. Still got taken down a bunch though.

Yeah I'm not really making an argument for GSP, it's just that people were over sold on the idea of GSP being old and bad after fighting Nick. I think the quality of athletes and fighting technique and strategy is just way better now and at the same time GSP dealt with aging and long layoffs.
