Barkley isn't wrong in that instance either. Barring some injuries to Lebron or... well ANYONE in GS, these last few years have been foregone conclusions. I mean yeah it sucks when broadcasters get jaded but it's also not easy to sell a game on national TV when the regular season literally does not matter at all.

He doesn't care about it being non competitive. The NBA has always been dominated by a couple teams, that's not a new thing. It's the nature of basketball as a sport, especially in a league that does seven game playoff series. The Lakers and Celtics have like half the titles in the history of the league. He's mad because he doesn't like the style of play anymore, and he has the typical old guy thing of being super insecure about his generation potentially being overshadowed or forgotten and is compensating by making GBS threads all over the modern game. He's also lazy as gently caress, so his complaints and analysis are all the same like four outdated cliches about how no one plays defense and how you can't win shooting 3s. It's fine if he doesn't like watching NBA basketball now, but if that's the case then just go away. It's bad for the league to have its most prominent television personality constantly talking about how bad the NBA is now, and it's no fun to listen to every night.
