This is the second song playing during the Prison/Old People scene.

I was really into this dude for like a month and then spent $15 to go see him at a bar for the luls and he spent fewer minutes on stage than dollars I spent to get in. He Milli-Vanillied 2 of his songs, then did some fake coke out a plant in the crowd on stage and left and the crowd (Philly) got angry and weird basically immediately.

I'm so stoked they used this song for an episode of South Park

I weirdly recognized the song in the episode, as a couple months ago I was at dinner with family friends and their special needs son who is way into rap said he wanted to listen to Stitches and his mom said he wasn't allowed to. So when I got home I searched him on YouTube and listened to this song and the one about Miley Cyrus. Weird fuckin guy.

Episodes like this it becomes clear why the boys keep Cartman around; because occasionally he has a stroke of genius.

Also on the Hummel figurines; King of the Hill had them (or an obviously fictional analogue) as a coping mechanism for Hank's mother.

Avoid everything from this season and last season. That's 20/21. Everything before it is pretty high quality with hits and misses. Except season 16. That's a bad season, too with only a couple worthwhile episodes. The first half of that season (the spring run) is total trash. The second part is back to normal, but that's only 7 episodes of which a couple are good.

Must sees:

13: fish sticks, pinewood derby, fatbeard, butters bottom bitch, W.T.F., The F Word, +margaritaville
14: tale of scrotie mcboogerballs, medicinal fried chicken, 200, 201, insheeption, coon trilogy, creme fraiche
15: humancentipad, T.M.I., you're getting old, assburgers, broadway bro down
16: sarcastaball, +a nightmare on facetime
17: informative murder porn, world war zimmerman, ginger cow, the hobbit (and sorta the 3 part game of thrones black friday thing. it would be better as two episodes but the butters stuff is great)
18: go fund yourself, gluten free ebola, grounded vindaloop, cock magic +the cissy
19: the whole thing because it is a somewhat linked. Not every episode is great but the running storyline works fairly well
20: none at all. just ignore it because everything that did work in 19 failed in 20.
21: none

My personal recommendations.

This was an excellent episode. I don't understand the complaints about Marcus.

There was a big missed opportunity for a horror parody to have Stan and Marcus hiding in the old lady's room as she searches for them, her unaware fart noises getting closer and closer.

Yeah going for a completely different genre reference in the last two minutes of an episode is a real missed opportunity.

I didn't really hear the song the first time I watched the episode, so the lyrics about collecting money with Mrs. McGillicuddy coming down the hall was amazing the second time through.

The pointed hats remind me of Klan hoods and those types whining about a witch hunt would be deliciously appropriate so I was thinking they were finally going after white supremacy, but with the recent Weinstein scandal and the way the witch went after Heidi while his friends would try to distance themselves from him, I can't help think they're trying to make fun of that. Either way fits with Garrison-Trump being a witch in secret.

I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG, BROTHER!
So I'm getting caught up on the show cause I just played the game. I just watched season 20.

According to the commentary and uh the internet in general from what I can tell... people didn't like that season?? Neither did Matt and Trey it seems.

Uh... I LOVED season 20. I guess I could see the troll thing being a full season thing instead of one episode being something people wouldn't like, but I thought the overall story was awesome and the whole thing felt like a movie. It was a fun change having the entire season be one continuous story. I thought giving Cartman a girlfriend was an interesting change of pace for his character (and also weirdly cute considering it's a character like Cartman who in all fairness doesn't deserve that kind of thing) and the scene of them being a new couple in front of the kids was really funny to me. It seems like they're trying to backtrack on that with that final episode though which eh.

I am glad I watched it all in one chunk though instead of watching week to week, considering the way the season was done.

edit: I just watched the first episode of this season and loved it. I then went to read the replies this thread had to it. I feel like I'm watching a totally different show from you guys :psyduck:

edit: Well starting episode 2, I do agree with this post :v:

This was a fun episode that kind of felt like the old days, but honestly the running gag of "girls take a long time to get ready am I rite guys" is such a lazy joke, and would be comedy poison if not for seeing how much it makes Cartman miserable.

I guess it may actually be better watched all at once. Week-to-week, it was... well, I never thought it was terrible by any means, but it got a little exhausting because nothing was paying off. There was much more of a feeling of them stringing us along and building up to some amazing ending that would tie everything together, and in the end it was just a kind of okay finale.
