Disregarding all of the ranting we've done about AV, if he doesn't turn this team around real quick then I think it's a very good possibility he's fired. They're playing like a lost team who is tuning out what the coaches want them to do, or a team that just can't play the gameplan the coaches are asking them to

I fully expect this to be the year that the Caps surprise everybody by somehow eking out a playoff series win against the Penguins or just a trip to the ECF by any path, and then promptly shatter the false hope built up by their seeming Cinderella run by going no further.

He's probably not as good as HAS wishes he was but 100 points in 143gp over the previous two seasons indicates he is probably good at hockey. Montreal just looks unlucky and bad and in their own heads right now. Even if this season is a wash, at 4.9 he should still be decent value for the remainder of the contract if he sticks with Montreal. And if he leaves Montreal a change of pace and playing in a more up-tempo system could really help him.

The Rangers need a road trip in the worst way. Get away from the Garden and try to bond a little bit. I still don’t think the Rangers are this bad, the talent is there, but they’re playing like a bunch of morons at the moment. They gotta stop shooting themselves in the foot right out of the gate. But hoooooooooooo boy if AV doesn’t turn this ship around he’s in trouble.

It seems like GLO PUCK should be even easier now, you can get rfid tags that are scannable up to 50 feet so you embed one of those in a puck and put a few antennas around the rink.. boom, you got precision puck tracking at all times.
