What the hell are you people doing on your PCs? I have Geforce experience installed but it only runs when I tell it to so I can check if there's a driver update. I never get sucked out of my games for anything and I have both xbox and chrome notifications enabled.

I can't recall if I ever played it

My kids were bugging me about the Minecraft "better together" update, and apparently it isn't an update to the existing xbone minecraft, but a whole new game you have to install? Did they just do a really lovely job of communicating that or am I old and forgetful.

If you own the digital release of Minecraft Xbox One Edition your account gains the digital release of plain "Minecraft" as it shows up. If you own the disc version there's something you can do to get the new version for free as well. You can have both of these versions installed at once, although "Xbox One Edition" won't be getting anything but minor updates from now on. To move game saves/worlds over from the old version, you import them on the new version like the Xbox One Edition did for bringing over your 360 version saves.

Is somebody poo poo talking MechAssault up in this thread? It's not MechWarrior but an arcade racer isn't a simulator. I hope Breakdown ends up working so people can finally play it instead of just hearing it get hyped for its ahead of its time details and touches only to find out a reason not many people really liked it for gameplay is because it is extremely unforgiving at certain junctures.

I don't know if they still do it, but Microsoft used to not have a digital/website method for cancelling services like XBL Gold except in areas where they were required by law to do so, so they could force people to call in and potentially get talked out of cancelling. From what I can remember, in the US I think the option appeared if you were located in the specific states which had laws for it, and there may have been a trick where you'd "move" to those states (change your billing address in your MS account) and then the cancel option would show up. Dunno if they changed all of this, though.
