Is there something I'm missing with regards to platforming with a podoboo in Luncheon? I found the part leading up to the boss, and the boss itself, incredibly frustrating. There's obviously no depth perception because it's not like it's a 3DS game, and your shadow is invisible between platforms. That said, everything else has been wonderful.

No, the Cookatoo fight is just a bitch to do for the final hit when you have to leap up the platforms with no real indication of whether you made the jump or fell through.

If so I had a bit of hassle jumping into the rotating things because I'd keep hitting the rim and dying.

I wonder if Bowser is ‘Koopa’ in the Japanese version of this. Cappy’s dialogue gibberish definitely has him saying “Bowser” in a way that sounds like the original audio to me, and then they call it Bowser’s Kingdom when in previous games it probably would have been called the Koopa Kingdom even in English. It’s like Robotnik->Eggman but in reverse.

so it turns out there is a point to buying moons If you max out the moon counter to 999 by buying moons, you get a secret ending where Peach's castle now has a top hat on it. If you climb to the top and throw Cappy onto the point of the hat, it plays a special animation.

I love running around like a tiny madman in New Donk City. I am just compelled to be an rear end in a top hat. Thank gently caress there's no fall damage. Also I like when the bosses in this are Kill La Kill with hats.
