The Management posted:rootless is misnomer. what it actually means is that the root privilege level is no longer equal to kernel privilege level. that is, root (sudo, whatever) can administer the system, but they can't damage the kernel integrity anymore (by loading random drivers, scribbling memory, deleting system files). so how can I do that kind of stuff now? or do we just live in a world that hates liberty (free as in freedom not beer) now
