I'm not necessarily proud of this but I'm gonna leave it here anyways.
Gaethje seems incapable of having a boring fight but has only recently emerged from the B-Leagues. Alvarez is hit and miss these days.

I'm thinking it should be better than Eddie/Giblert but I'm not gonna suck my own dick over it.

I'm picking Gaethje because Alvarez loves eating leg kicks.

Yea, barring someone getting caught early and finished right away, the leg kicks are probably going to be the deciding factor here.

I re-watched Gaethje Johnson and Johnson's chin looked to be holding up, but he just couldn't move or stand really anymore by the end of the 2nd round after all those leg kicks. Justin demolished him once he could no longer avoid the pressure.

I like the idea of the couch leap as a metric by which to judge how exciting a fight is going forward.

Yeah fuckin' this. As long as the winner is insane violence then who cares who gets their hand raised.

It's the best kind of Joe Silva "UFC" booking where either guy winning is a good outcome for the division as well. Can't wait.

It’s cool that Sijara Eubanks, the fighter who lost a title shot through failure to make weight, is only 5’3 and smaller than a lot of straw weights

In her "statement" she asserted (paraphrase) that because she cuts more weight than most male fighters, that nobody knows what she's talking about and she knows better so haters shut up.

Brilliant.

Completely ignoring the fact that the one time she cut weight on the show with like a single day of professional guidance, she did it easily and fought a lot better.

I think the best part of Sijara Eubanks' statement was when she referred to getting kidney failure during her weight cut as "going out on her shield".

And the mercy seat is awaiting,
And I think my head is burning,
And in a way I'm yearning,
To be done with all this measuring of proof.
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth,
And anyway I told the truth,
And I'm not afraid to die.
