I keep sitting down to try to answer this question, and I still can't figure out what I exactly think. Not being in the driver seat myself means that I haven't really invested in trying to figure out something that might constitute good strategy, and I'm also not yet sure whether "good strategy" is at all a thing that is possible. In the abstract, I like a lot about this game. I like how it is in this weird area where it feels intuitively like it's very close to a closed system, but you can still magically make money (well, and non-magically with dividends). I like the interesting timing that comes with the contract queue, though I indeed believe that resolving needs to be buffed. It's just a bit too tangled for me to figure out whether I like the gameplay without playing myself, I think.
