"You see Billy, by this time a kid had thrown a chicken while an infertile couple looked at a store." is my favorite riff of the entire series. Just thought I would share that. Edit: gently caress you, context ruining page snipe!

There's a lot of snow in Avalanche, but other than that, it's not terribly Christmas-y. Sure is a lot of Rock Hudson yelling at people into the phone, though.

The first host segment in The Touch of Satan is Christmas related as it's about wassail from the Christmas carol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rG9QRX1SX9k

Carnival Magic is basically the moment in Cry Wilderness when Bigfoot first appears and tells the kid his dad is in trouble, but over and over again just to be sure that you're constantly baffled and unsure of what you're watching.

The Rifftrax crew did a live show using the remastered version a couple years ago. It's on Prime Video: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01LXMVBYL/ref=tmm_aiv_title_1?ie=UTF8&qid=&sr=

The print RiffTrax used definitely looked better than what was on MST3K, but it’s still a noticeable step down from the completed restoration.

The final restoration is real good. It actually makes the movie at least a little creepy when you can see what your we're supposed to see.

I don't know which of his characters were worse in terms of writing. Mitchell was a weird mix of lazy/sleazy cop and sort of effective detective. I found nothing redeemable in his Final Justice role, like there was nothing about his character that I could like or empathize with. Also that shirt.
