It's not just cost effectiveness, coffee coming out of machines is always slightly skanky as you can never quite clean them properly (or trust lazy co-workers to clean them badly). A filter paper stuck in a plastic jug makes the best coffee and the indestructible jugs cost 13 francs 25 years ago. It's flashy, but crap. CIG all over really.

Never ever would I get the idea to render any part of a helmet in a game, let alone fully in focus!

It's not like modern fighter jet canopies are designed to have nearly no obstructions anywhere so the pilot can see as much poo poo as possible, even though most engagements are mid/longrage. Or how they are implementing VR-type stuff to actually "see through the hull" on helicopters (or very expensive SUVs to see through the engine compartment and check what's on the ground in front of the forward axle).

It had a couple of super super cool parts but in general it was just really plodding with zero tension and everyone being dumb and making dumb decisions. It felt like bad star wars fan fiction. In the way that unlike how the original trilogy they would reference real experiences and stuff you could relate too but this just referenced old star wars stuff. The IMAX I saw it in started off clapping and stuff and was just dead silent thorugh the movie and there was a lot of disgust at the end of it. i want my 3 hours back. gently caress you disney you hack frauds

Place I was hired to work at had one of those old Starbucks auto coffee machines with the huge rolling filters. People were complaining to me when I first came on that it was kind of finicky and predisposed to slow pours of not amazing coffee. I open it up and I swear to god there must have been a years worth of moldering grounds crammed into every available secret hollow of the machine's internal structure. It smelled like someone had died of dysentery in a vat of fermented garlic.

The new Star Wars is good. Afterall you might have gone your entire life not knowing that the person standing beside you that you called friend is the type of person who would think that Rogue One was a great film because of that amazing space battle at the end and Vader in the hallway was so badass.

I really liked Roque one and I like TLJ, I think TLJ is better than TFA and better than the prequels, mostly because it is a lot different than the originals, without becoming PT bad. but hey movies are personal taste and I'm way too smooth brained on the finer arts to say my 5 cents on it have anymore worth than other peoples.

It's going to consist of twelve pages explaining the timeline of SC's collapse and how he knew it would happen followed by roughly 1800 pages shifting randomly between yelling about people on reddit, photographs of his twitter feed and feverish fanfiction describing what the game would look like if he had made it. It'll ship with a 10% off code for Line of Defense.

But from someone with experience in IP and royalty lawsuits, having been engaged (and won) in 3 (including with Take Two) over the years, my thoughts: 1) say|write stupid poo poo in public or in email that provides evidence in support of a claim Skadden literally has trolleys of this already. They just get to pick and choose 2) say|write stupid poo poo - as per the above - that comes out during discovery Ortwin just gave them an open and shut freebie in the public statement they issue: "We are aware of the Crytek complaint having been filed in the US District Court,” the spokesperson said. “CIG hasn’t used the CryEngine for quite some time since we switched to Amazon’s Lumberyard. This is a meritless lawsuit that we will defend vigorously against, including recovering from Crytek any costs incurred in this matter." If there is a SINGLE line in the GLA that supports CryTek claim that they were supposed to develop the game with CryEngine - and there was no "out" - they're hosed. Why? Because even if ALL the other claims get tossed, this one would be a clear breach of contract and it comes with very hefty damages. Anyone who thinks that a firm like Skadden, after seeing the GLA, would craft a lawsuit around such a position were it not solid, is a loving moron. 3) Not settle. Instead, keep pissing around and playing hardball until Skadden starts sending out preservation notices - which they probably already sent out, preparation for discovery etc Cases go on and on and can get settled even right on the day of trial. But usually in high profile and damaging cases, most of the damage is already done during discovery. And in the case of CryTek v CIG, the single worst possible thing they would do, is let this go to discovery. ----------------
