Thankfully their great machine killer and innate badassery made them still somewhat effective but on the order of about 15% per turn with a spark chained OHC combo instead of what I thought would be a for sure one-turn battle. Still he wasn't anything crazy as far as I could tell, hits pretty hard per turn but I didn't notice any gently caress-you thresholds or anything like that as he croaked. Fohlen was geared for full dodge - I should have brought i-nichol but didn't think about it, figured if I needed tanking provoke would do a lot of the job. But that seems like a fine strategy.

So the story event is still a ways away from the next level because nobody wants to waste their NRG farming these stupid candy canes. Any bets of whether Gumi will listen and bump up the currency drop rate or not?

Meanwhile, JP has a raid going on for Christmas, and although the raid summon units aren't great (they're the same ones we just got in our tritrinity raid) there is a santa sleigh that flies in the background of the raid fight and it has chocobos guiding it. Pretty loving cool event!

They added another base 5* on that event but alim is pretty poo poo and decided not to give her a 7* BUT they are giving out like 2 10+1 pulls a day or something like that for 2 days and the 10+1 paid gacha guarantees santa roselia which is bonkers.

It really is one of the most poorly designed events Ive ever seen. The base rewards aren't worth the grind, probably even with a higher drop rate. There just arent enough rewards in the list to justify continues running for players and then to top it off the event requires the entire global community to unlock the story content. Whoever designed this needs to be fired to ensure something like this never happens again.

Like the bonus thing might just be a flag for "on" or "off" without differentiating between events. So they just had to turn off bonus units on the Christmas poo poo otherwise cloud would work.' THis is my tinfoil hat theory.

I'm really hoping that Apple's new gacha/loot box rule makes more companies decide to just do a single global server for their games like Granblue does. Pod-153 is a utility champ. A pair of them on weaker units with +mp support can turn a mediocre bonus unit in MK events into a solo clear capable unit thanks to how good chaining is, especially if the bonus unit can finish. The physical damage reduction, when useful, is dynamite and the easiest way to get it by far for my team. I never use the regen but I've been blessed with Marie since forever so if there's a fight where regen helps, Love You All+2. And that's not even counting that for a lot of units, a 300% AOE easy chaining move is an upgrade to their capabilities. While not as high of a multiplier as top tier units, it's still more'n enough to get the job done for physical AOE chaining tasks (again thanks to how good chaining is really) where your unit couldn't handle that natively. It doesn't get talked about much because either you've got it or you don't at this point and if it's useful for something you're probably using it. We don't talk about ribbons much either but it still owns having a ribbon or two at least. etc. Agreed fucked around with this message at 18:17 on Dec 23, 2017 |

I just spanked the Air Buster thanks to Hagie's iNichol. I pulled him but haven't leveled him or anything yet. I need to fix that cuz holy poo poo he's useful! I didn't realize his limit break was regen AND dodge so basically between the dual cast illusion abilities and the limit my party didn't get touched. Me likey.

That was my basic impression of FEH players, which made it an easy game to pass on. Slightly cringe-y characters most of the time, followed by the occasional close-enough-to-child-porn image that I'd never want it open near friends or co-workers.

My TMR squad, for the first time in a long time, is all A~ list talent. Darklord, Ayaka #2, Roy, Cloud and Elfreeda. It's one of the few times I've been able to send my team to also do other poo poo and I'm not worried about them ending up constantly wiping in Fina's Psyche. Unforunately Dark Lord is almost done and will be replaced by someone far less able to tag with a friend for chaining. It's been nice while it lasted though.

My TMR squad is elfreeda x 2 and setzer x 3, gonna have a FD OK/2B by the end of the holidays , you can get 2.5 mil dpt on those two with TDH FD builds  Once I have my first glove and FD I'll go with Cloud, Elfreeda, and 3 more setzers. I pulled cloud #6 this morning please send help.
