The Inhumans delay was worth it to have only one week off for Christmas.

Can't wait for Dasy vs Blue Lady

That was an amazing drat episode, and I love Alien Dude as a character after it. So glad he's ended up in the future with the team.

I didn't think this season was that great so far, like a typical Friday night sci-fi show. But goddamn this episode knocked it out.

Yeah, I've been kind of on the fence so far. I'm just not feeling Bunker Dystopia and the Budget Arena™. However, between the fight that had this fantastic camera shot:

If I had to guess, next episode is gonna be escaping from the mess they got into and the one after that will be finally getting to the surface and learning what's going on here. Should get more interesting from that point on.

Yeah it felt like the first few episodes were dragging just a bit, plus the setting wasn't super interesting IMO. Now that the team's all in the same time (and after that awesome episode) I'm guessing things start to pick up.

Budget cuts usually don't involve tearing down existing sets, building new ones and having the show require expensive CGI.

That was a great episode, more Fitz is always good.

Hilarious coincidence this episode aired the same day Liverpool gagged away a two goal lead at Arsenal.

I wonder which is going to happen first. Are they going back down to Earth and run into Vijay there or are they going to collect a chunk of ocean with Vijay in it on accident?

They likely didn't tear down expensive sets.

Those sets are almost assuredly the shield base but with different set dressing.

And CGI is only expensive when you need it to look super realistic and blend it with real actors and effects

Almost all of the CGI this season has just been shots of space ships at like video game quality.

I feel like the show forgot that Fitz was a badass before the framework happened, back when Simmons disappeared he was pretty hardcore too.

I'm hoping for old-as-hell couple Hunter/Bobby in one episode, still kicking and bickering, just with a bit more rheuma.

Why do you say that?

I mean, Hunter literally said that Bobbi would totally be down to help protect that girl. And that seems to be the current time plotline, protect them from the psycho government lady.

Adrianne Palicki is co starring on The Orville and was/is most likely too busy with that to return to SHIELD.

Fortunately that show ended up being really good so I'm not too upset.

Yeah, that's narrative short-hand for "we're keeping the CHARACTER alive in universe, but the ACTOR is not available at this time because reasons".

And agree that The Orville exceeded expectations.

The Orville has already aired their entire season and won’t start shooting again for a while and AoS is still shooting. So there’s a chance.

Yeah, unlike Lucifer, The Orville is actually a 20th Century Television production. So it definitely becomes a Disney property.

I mean, y'know, other than killing Director Mace and all. But hey, at least he got to go out as an Inhuman heroic savior of children that way!
