They look like they're part of a clockwork toy that has no subtle gear differences. It looks on par with PSX cutscenes in it's fluidity. There's zero nuances or subtle movements. No one blinks. No one shakes a stiff joint off. Not one of their facial expressions change. It's loving dreadful.

I am 100% convinced that if CIG was able to reproduce 15 minutes of that game and give it to players for their enjoyment the SC reddit would currently be celebrating the salvation of PC gaming. The thing about Infinite Warfare is that this is from a massive developer (Crobberts has what, 4 studios across the world) that has been making Call of Dutys for years, and have massive resources for their disposal to crank these things out on a yearly basis between three studios. What I will give them is having the seasoned vets in programming taking an engine that still has bits of Quake in it and sticking with it, building onto it, instead of jumping from Cryengine to Lumberyard to Starengine for the sake of Lord Crobberts. Call of Duty is also a lot more static and linear than what Squadron 42 is aiming for, supposedly. Crobberts & Gang are trying to do the AAA level game with, what, 170+ million, no publisher, and they said they wouldn't use your kickstarter dollars for marketing purposes? Surely it must have taken, what, a billion dollars for the level of muh fidelity of Infinite Warfare? Well, I can only spitball, but in 2009 it took $200 million to produce Modern Warfare 2 in 2009. I'm sorry, I take that back. That includes the marketing and distribution. The actual production budget from a 2009 CoD is about $50 million. I'm sure that number gets quite a bit bigger over the course of 7 years. So double it, whatever. Even then that's less than what CRobberts is working with. And all we have from him is a fuckin' mess. Oh, look, we added stealth mechanics now. No, we still have no idea on a release date after six years. But buy a tank, you loving moron! We need more money to burn on Hollywood actor mocap!
