Patch notes on steam says they're fixing the one way fences, some falling damage issues, missing BP rewards (with compensation later), and some server launch problems. Also making the death cam only viewable after 3 min. They go out of their way to say you're an idiot and there are a ton of reasons why the game is a laggy mess and that they helped break it by updating the engine and they'll keep working on it indefinitely. Oh and 50/50 map selection.

Just got this game as an xmas gift and am trying to figure things out, decided to reinstall on my ssd cause I keep missing the lobby. Anyway I got killed when a dude's aim suddenly snapped over directly to where I was, through a wall, and then he ran over to the window and was aiming all weird to shoot me. My other deaths seemed more legit and this dude's name was three letters and a string of numbers so prob just a hacker. Anyway this game will be fun once I kill someone, peace.

Just played 1.0 for first time (I injured my hand so couldn't play until now): I'm liking the better performance, the fact OC has solo FPP now, and I love new revolver when you get it during the beginning game scramble, it's quite satisfying. I have to say though that I agree with what's been said about new map: stuff is too spread out, the cars are obtainable but only seem to be on roads (which seem to be a lot more dangerous to go running along now, probably because driving offroad is slow/dangerous), and I'm dieing to the blue way more than old map. Also beginning game lag is loving horrendous now but that might be be because it's holiday season.

He was playing cs:go last night while the servers are down and is very good at that game too. I think he was a 1.6er, he accidentally called mirage map "strike." It was actually hilarious watching him play CS because he is so drat calm and the cs environment is ridiculously toxic. At one point he said "I think I need to be 15 to understand these people." Everyone just yelling stupid things at him and him staying so calm and just chuckling.

PUBG isn't much less toxic in its own way. A guy who killed me playing squads last night died to my teammates in turn because he ran up to my corpse to teabag my character (who is black) while shouting "YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT, SUCK MY COCK YOU loving friend of the family!" over voice chat, completely ignoring the rest of the game unfolding around him. It was hilarious to hear him shouting obscenities and then "aww poo poo" in mid-sentence where he got shot from behind. My remaining two squadmates even picked up the win after that.

You can mute global chat in PUBG and it has no bearing on your team or how you play. If you are playing to win in CS with a random team, your talk needs to be on to communicate with your team. But yea, internet gaming in general is pretty toxic, you are correct. I muted PUBG global chat after about my first ten seconds when I initially bought the game.
